Visiting Porto

Our first host edition of 12 Points took place in Stavanger on the beautiful coastline of Western Norway in spring 2010, and now we are following up with an equally dramatic location.

Porto is a gem, nestled on the banks of the Douro river in the heart of Portugal’s most celebrated wine region. The old town is a UNESCO world heritage site, steeped in history that reaches back to the Moorish occupation of the Iberian Peninsula. Its balmy in February, and you’ll have plenty to do between 12 Points gigs, visiting the city’s contemporary and historic buildings, sampling its gastronomy and its famous quayside port merchants.
